It is an old established lake with lily pads and reeds to fish to, with stunning scenery and set in a very quiet location with an abundance of trees such as Oaks and Silver Birch, with wild flowers and bushes that blend in to create a peaceful & natural surrounding.

"Steve, I thought I would let you know how we got on last week at your lake.
Firstly, what a very nice setting, peaceful and relaxing with a really nice looking water.
Secondly, the quality and condition of the fish was quite honestly outstanding, the best condition fish any of us had seen anywhere.
We all caught, a little slow to start off with, but in the end everyone went home happy, three of us with personal best.
my Son Josh lost an absolute monster mirror, easily 35lb+, it popped up out the water, seen the net and bolted, never to return..........some you win, some you lose.
But undoubtably the best catch/fight of the week was a 30.8lb Grass Carp caught at the bottom end of the lake (just off 1st grassy knoll).
Unfortunatly, no photo as these Grass Carp are a little delicate and get stressed easily as I'm sure you know, so we returned it to the water without delay, but what a beauty.
Anyway, great lake, great location.
I have been asked to enquire about another week in late summer, we are thinking september.............. What do you have available and I will pass the info on for a decision from the others, assuming of course that you'll have us back (although it will only be four of us next time).
Only one request..........can you shoot that bloody cuckoo !!
Cheers Steve, great venue."
